Friends of Style | Aster Luu

Aster Luu entdeckte die Fotografie schon mit 14 Jahren, als sie zum ersten Mal durch eine Polaroid Land Kamera blickte. Die Fähigkeit, hinter jedem und allem etwas zu sehen, was es für den Moment festzuhalten gilt, macht ihre Bilder so emotional. In Vietnam geboren, an der Golfküste Floridas aufgewachsen und in ihrer Wahlheimat New York lebend, ist Aster Luu eine besondere Fotografin und regelmäßige Style-Contributorin, So hat sie kürzlich mit einem starken Bild zur Juni-Ausgabe „Ready, Steday, Go!“ zum Thema Sport beigetragen.

Where are you from?
I was born in Pleiku Vietnam, grew up in Florida and live in New York

Where do you go?
I visit someone upstate NY and spend a lot of time in Florida with my family, I am going to Paris and Moscow in September.

Where do you like to be most?
Honestly, at home

What do you believe in?
Fate and destiny, true love.

What do you NOT belive in (any more)?
the reality / absolut of true love (its conditions/restrictions)

What do you love? what dont i love?!
I love a good smoothie and frozen Haribo gummi bears.

What do you hate?
hate is kind of harsh, maybe taxi cab drivers Sometimes or when there’s a pebble roaming around in my shoe.
