As a platform for tons of new and established talent the Salone del Mobile in Milan will this week be hosting the Flyknit Collective project by Nike with a workshop to boot. As to stir up innovation and a fresh, creative take three of Nike’s top designers, Fragment Design founder Hiroshi Fujiwara, Nike’s Tinker Hatfield and Mark Parker, came up with a second collection. Displayed as little works of art, these athletic running shoes feature an intriguing manipulation of textured patterns to mix up the technical and the natural. Obviously the one combination that Nike as a brand truly stands for.

Clashing and almost neon colours as well as an almost three dimensional texture is to be found in this latest range of running shoes. The Flyknit Collective surely takes it up a notch design wise and will make working out to be succeeded with flying colours. After Milan additional releases will take place in NYC and London on April 22nd, and in Tokyo on April 27.
